L.A. Girl Nudes Beauty Brick Eyeshadow Collection Review & Swatches | Ruchi Jadhav

I’m currently hating & loving that summers are gone, like the weather is kinda cute :P, So today i’m reviewing the LA Girl Nudes Palette, LA Girl is available online on Nykaa (now the prices are a bit too much, compared to the US websites, but availability is an issue, plus we pay customs and taxes so :/ )


Product Description :

Four gorgeous must-have eyeshadow palettes filled with a dozen majorly pigmented shades ranging from super wearable looks like Nudes to bolder looks like Neons. L.A. Girl’s Beauty Brick Eyeshadow Collection gives you the best of all colors to allow you to create stunning looks!


How To Use : 

Apply L.A. Girl’s Pro Primer to create long lasting looks. Using the included double-ended brush or the L.A. Girl’s ESSENTIAL MAKEUP BRUSH SET apply shadows to contour, line, and highlight and create looks for any occasion

It comes in a black cardboard box with a transparent glass which gives a peek to the eye shadow shades. There are 12 shades. The cover closes with a magnetic closure. The name is printed on the cover, at the back of the cover all the details are given. It also comes with a dual brush, which is quite soft but not blendable.

Review : 


The palette is a collection of three matte and nine shimmer shades. All the eye shadows have different textures. The matte ones are little bit powdery. They have a bit of fallout. Matte shades are bit hard and powder texture is rough, which I didn’t like.


The matte shades lack pigmentation when compared to the shimmer shades. The shades are very pretty, no doubt. But not blend-able and build-able to any extent.



The first six shades is pretty close to rose colours, with pink undertones to mostly all the shades.  Seventh one is a chocolate shimmer and the rest are deep, dark taupish shades. This palette looks very similar to Naked 3 palette.


It is an affordable palette, but a bit chunky, specially with the matte ones. It takes a lot of time to build the proper eye shadow look. If you love and have the patience to create the looks, then it’s a kind of a decent palette.

Pearl Portfolio 2017 is a mega design event where our graduating students showcase their creative masterpieces as they define the future school of Design, Fashion and Creative Business. An event where you’ll be able to get a glimpse of the final project submissions of the graduating batch.

The day started with some panel discussions, at NESCO, along with some fun activities lined up, the selfie booth was created by the students specially for Mumbaikars, and I couldn’t resist clicking one 😉


Designer Manish Malhotra, Prahlad Kakkar, Actor Anand Tiwari and Sudhir Sharma founder, INDI Design came together in a discussion – ‘My City, My Life’ where they reflected on their journeys in the city of dreams.

I absolutely loved the fact, that they not only discussed about their journey but also guided the students, graduating students, asked them about their opinions and plans for their career, which made this panel discussion more fun and smooth going in the field of creative designing.

Next, not only this, each of the student’s artwork were displayed, right from clothes to crazy scientific experiments, were to be seen. Let my pictures do the talking 🙂

With a bold and a grungy feel- the dustbin was also creatively designed with said ‘Ikde taka’ which means Throw Here, how cool right!


After the panel discussions, here comes my favourite part – The Fashion Show, each of the graduating students, designed their masterpiece, with the help of their respective mentors. Each group had their inspiration through something or some country, which was really mature of them. I have honestly seen such shows only at LFW and AFW.



Each group had about four students, and 4-5 amazing outfits, here are some of the artwork’s done by the students at Pearl Academy Portfolio 2017.

What made me go gaga was the tribute to Mumbai- they had this special walk on the ramp, where they were dressed as Vada Pav, Dabbawalla’s, Taxi’s, Local train, which just highlighted the fact that Mumbai is known for all these random yet beautiful things.


After the fashion show, we also had Manish Malhotra’s final thoughts about the students and their creativity, imagination, And I think he was pretty much impressed. 🙂

The quality of the product is amazing. Although I have been happy if the frame had a stand attached, like not everyone loves wall frames. Apart from that I love how the planner is quite sleek, everything on one page, which is kinda clean you don’t need to turn pages 😛



One of the things I would really like to stress on is the pricing, it’s not some huge fancy amount. I absolutely love that it’s inexpensive, specially for a person like me who lovessss collecting such cute stationary.

An intense, long-wearing lip colour with full coverage and a satin finish. Leaves lips supple and protected with lasting comfort. In a new formula, ROUGE ALLURE features concentrated, ultra-thin pigments that deliver full coverage and magnify shade intensity. Sweet Almond Oil, Green Tea and Sappan Wood helps smooth, moisturize and protect lips.

Obvious reason, why I own this beauty – One click releases it from its black lacquered case. That ‘click sound’ is just so satisfying, lol! I absolutely love the all black case, along with ‘CHANEL’ at the bottom of the cover ❤

Review :


The lipstick is Velvety soft and more comfortable than any matte lipstick before, it adorns lips with deep colours and an intensely luminous matte finish. It is as moisturising as a satiny lipstick, it feels as weightless as a second skin. A tiny drawback would be the lighter shades won’t really suit most of the indian skin tones.



Obviously a bit over- priced too, but once you own this beaut, it’s just one of the bestest lippie’s I have ever come across. Stays for a pretty long time, after a heavy meal, kind of starts fading. You need to re-apply it. It’s not completely matte. Since it has moisturising oils, it not matte, gives a matte- satiny finish in-between.


I love the shade. It’s a deep brown shade, which is the darkest brown I own till date, I wanted a pretty bold brown which has berry undertones to it, also a very mature shade, would be the best choice for people who love matte shades,this won’t dry your lips like the actual matte ones would do.

Pantene Pro V Hair Fall Control Shampoo, Conditioner Review | Ruchi Jadhav

Hope you all are doing good ! Recently I have been using the New Pantent Pro V Hairfall control shampoo, and I’m loving it. Usually I do not change shampoo’s but when I got the chance to try the new Pantene, I was super excited ❤


About Pantene Pro V Hair Fall Control Shampoo & Conditioner :

As I mentioned earlier, I’m very skeptical when it comes to changing shampoo’s, I have Pantene even before, It’s obviously pocket friendly. The fragrance is the same like all other Pantene shampoo’s. I don’t really have any issues with my hair apart from Hair-fall (which is like a global problem) 😛 I noticed my hair-fall did reduce, not completely but I could notice some improvement. My hair looks more voluminous and more shiny. It cleanses the scalp pretty well. Specially if you have oiled hair. This is the best shampoo to get rid of the oil perfectly.


The shampoo has  a very thick creamy consistency. It claims to have stronger,thicker and longer hair in 14 days. The conditioner is as good as the shampoo, for better results always have the same shampoo and conditioner.





Honestly it depends from individuals to individuals and different hair types. It took me around 18-20 days to achieve the perfect results, but you will start noticing the results in the first 2 washes itself.

Since it has no paraben or any dye added, It’s completely fine to switch to Pantene. Also with Pantene – We have Priyanka Chopra as the new Global Ambassador for Pantene.
